We acknowledge that the land we meet on is traditional land of the Whadjuk Noongar people, the Traditional Owners of the greater Walyalup area. We acknowledge the Whadjuk people’s spiritual relationship to country, land, waterways ands skies, and that their cultural and heritage beliefs are still important to the living Whadjuk people today. We pay our respect to Elders past, present and emerging.

We are an LGBTIQA+ ally promoting resilience for queer, transgender and gender diversity within the birth space. We often refer to “birthing people” for inclusivity but want to acknowledge that this does not always read well and that any reference to “women” or “mums” includes parents who do not associate with female titles.
